My career path

I have been lucky to have worked in all forms of Media ranging from Print, internet, innovative, OOH and Radio. Started with world bank project learning rural media planning, it was fun seeking the rural conceptions and thoughts of Rural people who are least bothered in Globalisation.
Understood the rural media planning, the theme of preventing the girl child drop out and making them understand the importance. Designed street plays, puppetry, using traditional media in spreading media like Band Drummer, Bullock cart desgining.

Worked with Information technology department of Karnataka for its maiden project Mahiti Sindhu where in computer education was imparted free of cost in government school, completely rural based media planning. This helped me a lot in understanding what is Rural media and how to make a brand or product sucess in rural marketing where volumes count.

Was a lecturer in St Joseph college of Business Management for its Evening college where in i taught Basics of Media and Media planning to students of PG in Advertising and public relations.

Was lucky to get a International Campaign assignment with Client Advertising agency for its client Higher Insititute of Education Abu Dhabi, it was a entreprenuial campaign at Bruj Al Arab. Learnt a lot about international media especially Airport Media, Inflight Media, Expat Media.

Worked with sobhagya where in had good oppourutnity to work with clients like BSNL,Eastern condiments, State Bank of Mysore, Canara Bank.

In explocity i was exposed to Online media, with this company i provided functionality to its Daily Events News letter called MyTime for 6 Indian Cities and 1 each in New York and Dubai. Learnt all details of online media, Driving Traffic, SEO campaign, Google Analytics, Analyzing online media. The Biggest achievement was i generated a 3 million traffic to Explocity website by this News letter. The entire strategy of positioning this news letter as a Niche Diaspora and Viral Marketing tool.

Moved to BIG 92.7fm radio was new challenge to me it was my dream come true as this assignment would complete me as a media analyst. Working with BIg was good learnt RAM software, Giving analysis of content, matching competition, Competitor Mapping for content.

With all these i am know Account Director Planning & Strategy in Ad Syndicate in house advertising agency of Manipal Group.
